Terms & Conditions

Please read the following terms carefully before using Storage Master services. Completing a booking indicates that you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service and Contract

·This service is provided by Storage Master (hereinafter "the Company"), including the door-to-door collection, transportation, storage and return of mini boxes and mini storage.
·By completing an online booking and payment, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
·The minimum storage period is three months. Any storage period of less than one month will be charged as one full month.
·After the storage period expires, if the customer has not arranged to retrieve the items, the service will automatically continue on a monthly basis and be charged monthly at the original monthly fee, until the customer notifies termination and retrieves all items.

2. Fees and Payment

·The customer pays the first month's fee upon confirming the booking (plus a one-time materials fee, if applicable). Thereafter, the monthly fee will be charged automatically to the registered credit card on the same day each month.
·If the customer terminates the service early within the commitment period (3 months or 6 months), the full fees for that commitment period remain payable.
·The Company does not charge any deposit or storage-return fee.
·All fees paid are non-refundable, unless otherwise specified in these terms.

3. Collection, Transportation and Return

·The customer must ensure that someone is present at the designated address to hand over or receive items at the booked time.
·To change or cancel a booking, please contact the Company's customer service as early as possible to reschedule.
·The customer should ensure items are properly packed. The Company shall not be liable for fragile items that are damaged during transportation due to improper packing.
·If the designated address has no lift, requires the use of stairs, or has special handling conditions, please state this when booking, as the Company may need to provide a separate quotation.

4. Storage Item Restrictions

·Each item must comply with the applicable weight and size limits (see the details of each plan).
·The customer must be the lawful owner of the stored items or an authorised person.
·The Company reserves the right, upon reasonable suspicion, to refuse to collect or store any item that violates these terms.

5. Limitation of Liability

·The Company will handle and safeguard the customer's items with reasonable care.
·If items are damaged or lost due to the Company's negligence, compensation is capped at ten times the one-month fee of the storage plan to which the item belongs, or HK$1,000, whichever is lower, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.
·The Company shall not be liable for any loss caused by force majeure such as natural disasters (e.g. typhoons, floods, earthquakes).
·If the customer is overdue on the monthly fee for more than 60 days, the Company reserves the right, after notifying the customer, to dispose of the relevant items to offset the outstanding amount.

6. Personal Data

·Personal data collected by the Company will only be used for providing services, billing processing and service notifications, and will be handled in accordance with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

7. Prohibited Items

To protect the safety of all customers' items and staff, the following items may not be stored under any circumstances. The list includes but is not limited to:

Flammable Items

·Adhesives, antifreeze
·Beverages containing 70% or more alcohol
·Alcohol-containing body wash, hand sanitiser or hair styling products
·Camping gas, cooking blowtorches and other hazardous gases
·Carpet cleaners, cleaners containing turpentine
·Cooking oil, dry-cleaning agents, engine additives
·Flammable gases (e.g. butane gas)
·Flammable liquids (e.g. petrol, lighter fluid and diesel)
·Flammable solids (e.g. non-safety matches, disposable barbecue equipment and coal)
·Hair styling mousse, setting spray
·Lighter fluid, lighters, correction fluid
·Matches, charcoal, phosphorus and easily ignitable items
·Oil-based paints, paint thinner, thinner and liquid adhesives
·Perfume, pesticides, spray lubricants, paint

Other Prohibited Goods

·Chemicals, poisons, drugs, and any type of hazardous or toxic material
·Food or any type of perishable item
·Live animals or plants (of any species)
·Firearms, firearm parts, ammunition, explosives
·Items that emit any foul or strong odour
·Illegal drugs, counterfeit goods, stolen property or any type of illegal item
·Original documents that must be properly kept to comply with legal or government requirements (e.g. passports, identity documents)
·Any special or high-value items (e.g. cash, jewellery, antiques), unless prior written consent has been obtained from the Company
·Any item that may pose a danger to the Company's staff or to other customers' items

The Company reserves the right to revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. In the event of any dispute, the Company reserves the right of final decision.
